    Puck great point..

Travis henry was just one year removed from back to back 1300+ yard seasons when we acquired him for a 3rd rd pick.

At the time we acquired henry he was 27 and had 4 years under his belt in which he averaged almost 1000 yards a season. One could argue that henry's qualifications were equal to turner now though turner is 2 years younger.

Marshall faulk as great a player as he was, a back who averaged almost 1700 yards of offense a season for the colts, and still in his prime at 26, was traded to the rams for a 2nd and a 5th. Certainly turner is not worth a marshall faulk.

We will not be giving up our first rd pick for this guy. A first round swap sounds like the ticket and a later pick. That late 4th we got for mcnair seems fair and we still have our own 4th.

    The value of that trade..

According to that table jeff had the swapping of first rd picks is equal to us giving up a very high 3rd rd pick. If we add our later 4th rd pick it seems like a fair deal. Comparable then to a mid 3rd and a mid 4th.

I don't think the contract will be outrageous for turner either. Similar to what henry got from the broncos with less guaranteed. The difference being that turner is 4 years younger than henry. Should not count any more than $4M against the cap..
