    I think the point you are missing is that if a decent, average running back can be had for a fraction of the amount we're paying to CJ then that money could be better allocated to other areas of need on the team.

    I think we can all agree that CJ has lost his explosive, take it to the house speed and elusiveness that made him worthy of that contract to begin with so why spend "play maker" money on a guy who is clearly just average at best now? It's like spending the same amount of money as it cost for a new Ferrari but getting a Hyundai Sport instead. Make sense? He's not worth the price the team is paying him for the type of production he can produce at this stage of his career.

    So... since the Titans aren't going to spend money (even though we're forced to next year) - we should just give it away to CJ? That's the stupiest statement ever.
