Leinart leaves game with injury

While I agree that the Titans need to take care of their own business, it is just plain silly to say they are better off with a 5th round rookie with no training camp, never been active before yesterday, never has been QB at the helm. The Texans fate was sealed when Schaub went down. But Yates isnt Tom Brady.

Even if the Texans collapse, they'll still beat either Indy OR Carolina. The chances of them losing 5 in a row are astronomical. In order for the Titans to win the division, we need to win at least 4 of the next 5.

Most people here are counting Buffalo and NO as the only tough games left on the schedule. You really can't guarantee wins against 3 division opponents coming up. Even though the Jags suck, Colts suck and Texans are beaten up those are huge trap games. The Titans haven't been a very consistent team this year, we've already lost to the Jags AND the Texans. If we lose one of those final 3 games, on top of NO or Buffalo, we can kiss the playoffs goodbye.

Like TJ said, the Titans need to worry about winning 4 of the next 5. If we end up 10-6, we'll likely make the playoffs in the wildcard spot. I'd probably rather have the Texans beat the Bengals for us.

Given the situation with the other teams in the AFC South, the Texans were pretty much handed the division on a silver platter, and if they still can't make the playoffs even with the division handed to them (sorry Cow fans, having injured players for games against bad teams doesn't give you an excuse), then it will be one of the most pathetic things in NFL history.

If you watched the game you would have seen Yates march it down the field without to much trouble.
At that point we protected our remaining QB and the lead against a team that hasnt scored more then twenty points all year.
