I think the Titans will be in a very close battle with the Texans for the division, and with the Bengals for the WC spot. Fortunately (and unfortunately) Texans play the Bengals in 2 weeks which will guarantee one of them a loss (and one a win). I really think the outcome of that game will decide which route the Titans will have to take to get into the playoffs.

Like many have already said I see the Titans finishing the season 10-6 with the only loss coming from the Saints. That will mean that the Texans will have to finish this season 1-4, and the Bengals would have to finish 2-3.

Looking at each teams schedule, I can see Houston easily drop 3 games (Falcons, Bengals, Titans) and the Bengals have 2 very tough games with the Steelers and Ravens. Either way, one will need to drop a game to a team they should probably beat, and it might be easier for us if the Texans actually beat the Bengals in 2 weeks and us to get the WC spot ... too bad Leinart got injured

Leinart going down could end up screwing us over...

We need the Bengals to lose 3 more games and without that texans loss I'm not sure how its going to happen..

Titans would have had a better chance against the Dixon squeelers if the Titan QB was preparing for sunday instead of running a day care center

I've said it before and I'll say it again.....TitanMark is delusional!!

Contrary to all evidence and facts he still makes the stupidest statements based on his hatred of the Texans.
You sound like one of those public school system kids who are told you can do no wrong because they dont want to screw up your confidence.
Let me guess...you played on one of those PeeWee football teams where everyone gets a trophy and they dont keep score.

I can understand being a homer...hell everyone is to a certain extent.
But you live in a world of rainbows and unicorns and those unicorns sh/t skittles in all the colors of said rainbows.....just for you TitanMark.

Good God man get a grip!!!

What the heck are you talking about? Delsuional? Im delusional because I think the Texans are worse than they were 24 hours ago? Im delusional because I am stating a fact that the Titans still have a shot at the division? Im delusional because I think a 5th round rookie wont be able to win any games?

What am I delusional about. Tell me... explain it.

Well TitanMark....................your delusional about pretty much everything.
It would be easier to list the things your not delusional about....if I could find any.
Even the posters on your own board say your nuts. And I dont blame them.
That you can say with a straight face that the Titans are going to win the division after looking at the schedules of both our teams tells me your either totally lacking in football knowledge or your delusional.....which is it?

The odds are astronomical!!! Yet you still insist you have a GOOD chance.
Sure it could happen....but anyone with a lick of sense knows it's highly unlikely.
Yet you continue to go on and on and on and on etc.......ad nauseam

The Titans winning the AFC South is still unlikely. I wouldn't the odds are "astronomical" though.

This injury just happened a couple weeks too late for the Titans to have a decent shot at the division. The Texans locked up the tie breaker against you guys and more than likely just have to beat Carolina and Indy to get in.

Where did I say the Titans WOULD win the division? Where? I said they are still in it. They are, its a fact. YOU are the one that's delusional if you think its a done deal the Texans will win it just because. You are delusional if you think a 5th round rookie will just come in and take the Texans to the promise land. The odds are only "astronomical" in Houston that the Titans will win the division. The odds are that Houston will manage to win a couple of games. But it is NOT out of the realm of possibility that the Texans could lose all of their remaining games. Yates could be that bad. Gabbert is that bad. Ponder has been that bad. If the Jags had started McCown in the 2nd half there is a good chance the Texans would have lost. Having NO QB and not being able to pass is a HUGE problem, HUGE. Turnovers are a HUGE problem. If the Texans have a limited playbook they are toast. The defense will wear down because they will be on the field alot. 11 straight 3 and outs yesterday. The odds are Texans are going to have trouble scoring. If you dont see that I cant help you.

That's probably true. But decent is still in the building. Good has left, but it isn't astronomical. The Texans have to win 2 games. In my personal opinion Im not sure they can.
