We lost to Andy Dalton this year. We lost to Dennis Dixon last year.

We lost to the not so good Texans 41-7 when they were without Williams and Johnson. Foster and Tate ran all over them even though they gameplanned to stop them. Even though that was a couple of weeks, I havent seen much from the Titans D that would indicate they can stop the run. Blount just ran for over a 100 against them while Turner did the same the week before.

The Texans have a top 5 D and run game. They are good. And to harp on the Texans so called easy schedule is laughable; except for two games it is the same as the Titans. They had to play the Raiders and the Dolphins while we got the Broncos and the Bills.

I know it easy to hate on the Texans, heck I enjoy it myself, but for them to be 8-3 with their injuries is an achievement and a testament that they are a good team this year.

Yates is not Andy Dalton. The Texans top D came about with the trash they have played the last 5 weeks. Blount ran for over 100 and the Bucs still lost.

Dixon didnt beat the Titans. The Steelers got 4 FGs and a TD return on a kickoff. That was a Fisherball game. Fisher did more to lose that game than the Steelers did to win it.

The Texans have had an easy schedule. So have the Titans. Im not disputing that. Their defense is alot better than it was.

Dont give me that crap about the 1st game. That game no more matters in the 2nd game or the potential results than does they fact the Titans blasted the Ravens who blasted the Texans. The Titans didnt blitz the Texans in that 1st game. They will now. This is what Schaub does for them. With him to have to respect the pass. Now teams dont. The Texans will be LUCKY to win 2 more games. Thats what they need to win the division unless the Titans win out.

Unless their defense starts scoring they wont score much. So that great defense you gusy think they have better start pitching shutouts. If Luke Mccown had started the 2nd half of todays game the Texans would have lost. Gabbert is bad.

This is all on the Titans. I agree. Im not at all advocating that the Titans are a great team. They arent. But they have an shot at the division now.

But in my opinion the Texans are not a better team than the Titans now.

Things definitely don't look good here in Houston. I still think we take the division, but that's about it.

It would take a miracle for you guys to lose the division in all honesty. The team would have to completely lose faith, which would take a monumental coaching meltdown since you're so close to the playoffs.

My preferred situation would be to make the playoffs with the wild card and play the Texans in the wild card game. They're probably gonna be the worst AFC team in the playoffs sans Schaub.

I almost feel bad for all of the AFC south teams this year... Colts lost Peyton and haven't won a game this year. Texans finally put together a decent season and lose both their 1st and 2nd string QBs. Jaguars blow their 1st round pick on Gabbert, lol. I can't decide which one is the worst, but I'm leaning towards the Jags. Texans will probably be decent next year, Colts are gonna get Andrew Luck out of this bomb of a season... Jags... well Jags get penetrated in the anus.

I like how you inadvertently just called your own team thrash lol

And word to the wise, for anyone that tries to use logic and argue with this guy save your time.

Not sure we can put that one on the Fish, didn't we have like seven turnovers?

Sounds like a hell of a lot of excuses... That's each one of your points that's an excuse... Nothing factual... like you're thinking "lemme just throw something out there and hope it sticks".. I guarantee if the Texans win more than JUST 2 games that you'll have your built in excuse as to why... :suspect:

That game does have bearing because that defense the Titans played that Sunday they will have to play again regardless of what assumptions you have about their QB situation...

The Ravens have lost to more than just one mediocre/bad team... Titans, Jags, and Seahawks... They've been inconsistent, but are still a good team.

Good teams beat bad teams and the Texans have dominated the bad/mediocre teams and found ways to win games with many injuries and they've played consistently... those are characteristics of a good football team whether you like it or not.

The Titans have beaten the bad teams and lost to the good ones outside of the Ravens and Jags, but that one win looks more like an anomaly when you look at all of their performances... That makes them a mediocre team.

No no I am not angry. I am just stating my opinions. Fact is none of us know how this is going to play out. I dont care how great the Texans run game or defense plays if Yates throws 3 picks a game and stinks it up like rookies do the Texans wont win.

I am just happy that as mediocre as my team is its december and the Titans still have a shot. There are alot of teams that would trade places with them. The Titans have basically beat the same teams the Texans have. It doesnt matter how you win if you win.

    We will see....
