Who is Buffalo? Who is Houston now that Yates is the starter? Remember what happened to the Titans last season when our 3rd string guy was in the game? Its not pretty. Yates is a 3rd string QB for a reason. He couldnt even beat out Leinart.

Could the Titans lose 2 more games? Sure, hell they could lose 3. But the Texans are not a great team. They have been very very lucky this season with the schedule and how it fell. Could the Titans win out, yep. I expect a loss to the Saints. But the rest of the games are winnable by this mediocre Titans team.

Am I supposed to be scared of Buffalo? It boils down to this. Teams are going to really force you to beat them through the air and I'm not sure TJ Yates will be able to do that. Your schedule the rest of the way is pretty tough other than Indy. I know Carolina isn't that tough but Newton is still tough to stop and well TJ Yates is your QB.

Would have to be a choke of Cub-like magnitude...

Cows have not been in the league since 1908 (heck, not even a league back then), but, if anyone has it in them to choke this big it would be them LOL...

That said, I see us losing 2 games at a minimum for the remainder of the season (Saints and one more...we are still pretty up and down), so I am not sure even the Cows can choke that hard. If the Cows do hang on, now the Cow fans have their built in excuse for being one and done in postseason...

If the Texans win 2 more games this year, we won't win the division. We need them to lose to either Ind or Car.

I think we may have a better chance at wild card

I'm a firm believer in "let's get to 10-6". I think some way, will be in the playoffs if we finish at 10-6. We need to go 1-1 in the next two (buf & nwo, I'm being realistic) and then sweep our last 3 divi games.

Even at 10-6, losses to Cinci, Pitt are gonna hurt. We did beat the Ravens and Broncos, so hopefully we get into tie breakers with them for the wildcard.

Don't forget the jaguars in week 1. Because of that loss and the loss to the Texans the Titans division chances are slim to none

    1. This is very true.

    2. I disagree. I can only see us losing to the Saints at most. I understand none of these last games are gimmes but I don't see us losing to Buffalo, Jax or Indy and we can clinch a playoff spot with a win in houston in week 17.

I agree. I think the Titans lose to the Saints and the Texans in week 17.

You really think Yates can beat the Titans? It isnt happening. The division is still alive.

Yates is a rookie. The Texans arent THAT good guys. Come on....

We said the same thing about beating Dennis Dixon last year.
