The Texans D isnt that great. I stand by that. The Texans D has failed to stop any team with a decent offense. Thats a fact.

Who have the Texans defense stopped? Raiders? NOPE Ravens NOPE Saints NOPE The Texans wins are all against teams in the bottom half of the league in offense. The Texans defense is smoke and mirrors.

Thats not a small sample. Thats a trend. The Texans will not beat good teams. The Texans defense is better than it was, but it isnt as great as it looks. That is more about the other teams than the defense. They will be exposed this weekend againt by Atlanta and then against Cinci and Cam Newton will put 24 points on em. You will see. That facts are what they are.

It's not in my opinion, it based on what you have said. You said that you live in Houston and made it clear you are using personal experience to generalize an entire group of people, that IS anecdotal by definition, not my opinion.

And, what I take issue with is you using your personal experience to generalize about an entire group of people, it's small minded and stupid.

You forgot two very important points:
1. The AFC South division is down. Currently, not counting the Texans, the W-L ratio for AFC South teams is 9-24, and that's on what many projected to be a weak schedule for the AFC South as a whole(!!!). A good college team could have won this division this year. The Texans are still mediocre at best, but they don't suck as bad as everyone else in the AFC South has this year.

2. The Texans upcoming schedule is a cake-walk. Your hardest games are at home (Atlanta, Titans), meanwhile, the Titans still have to play in Buffalo and against the Saints. All the Texans have to do to win is beat the Colts and Panthers (who have a combined W-L ratio of 3-19) and pray our bipolar team falls to Buffalo and the Saints (and is having a bad day when we play you, like we did the last time we played you).

Point is, winning the AFC South this year really isn't anything to brag about. You losers will be one and done in the playoffs, and next year you'll still be just as mediocre as ever, but the other teams will be better, so maybe then the lot of you idiots that have infested our board can spend your time on an actual Texans board reminiscing about your one and only trip to the playoffs.

At this point I only read his posts for the comedy value.

I dont care how bad the rest of the division is... We lost our best defensive player for the year, our best offensive player for 6 games, Foster for a few, starting safety we aquired for 6 games, and now our first and second string QB. We currently have the number 1 seed in the AFC despite all of this.... And will STILL make the playoffs. Mediocre at best??? Hardly! Full strength... the Texans are one of the best teams in the AFC and only the titan fans have a hard time acknowledging that.
