    Kind of looks like the runs in preseason where he was running over people. That's really weird.

    So Gado was a fluke but Blount's numbers in ONE GAME are an indicator of future performance? 11/72 against that defensive juggernaut St. Louis Rams who finished 27th against the run last season. Call Canton.

    Which show the same as mine — 6th on punt coverage, 27th on kickoffs. The Titans are not dead last in kickoff return defense or mid-tier on punts as you stated. You may have been looking at total yardage which only means the Titans have scored so much, their kicking off more. You need to focus on average per return.

    Blount is fun to watch. The guy is a bull. Maybe he ends up filling a role for the Bucs. But there's no way he'd see the field here as a #3 who can't play special teams. That's why the Titans wanted him on the PS. It just didn't work out.

    For what it's worth we're giving up 3 yards per return more this year than last year. So it's not like our special teams is getting a whole lot better.

    One would think that since Fisher is such a "great coach" he could simply teach an athlete like Blount to do something as simple as special teams. (something mostly the losers of the NFL do anyway)

    just a thought - every team in the NFL passed on LaGaarreettee 7 times before 2 teams finally called him the day after the draft.
