Players got locked out. Officials got locked out. Work stoppages are like the one thing commissioners are absolutely responsible for and there have been two under Goodell.

Dude sucks. He's in charge of the world's biggest golden goose. Bring back Tags.

Work stoppages that result in zero missed games are hardly a major issue.

Nope, that was a year later in 2012 when the replacement refs came in

Games were changed based on that debacle. No debating it.

Had guys refereeing games that weren't good enough for BCS games. Goodell sucks.

only refs that would work were ones that had no hope of getting into the NFL thru traditional route. Litterally had HS refs out there. And retired college guys.

    it was sad.

heard a radio interview with one of the crew chiefs. Was a retired div1 ref and he gathered his buddies as his crew. Actually was one of the less controvesial crews. Probably cause they at least knew each other. Dude admitted on the radio that some of the crews had jock sniffers that played favorites to help their favorite teams.

Grasping at straws if you are using that as evidence that Goodell is doing a bad job. Small blip on the radar. Embarrassing, yes, but not a major issue.

As I said, Goodell's bosses are thrilled with the job he's doing.
