Lavelle Hawkins Request

Hawkins will get his time to shine this season due to our depth woes alone. A lot of new WR's have drops, its part of the process. If he can continue to improve each week and keep making plays on key downs he'll be nice WR depth that might be kept around. Mariani sure isn't doing anything to earn a WR spot.

 

that was then.. this is now... if washington starts dropping them now i'd be concerned... hawk is in his 4th year... but i'm not as critical as i should be since he played in fisher's silly depth chart...
but i do give both of them props on what they do away from the ball... that shoulder rub from dwill to set up a wide open washington was fantastic

 

Mariani VY and Rusty will be flipping burgers at VYs restaurant next year book it.

He hasn't dropped one this year, and had very few drops last year. At least he's improving. But either way at least we dont have Hardesty LOL

 

that was awesome.. i remember that, i was the only one watching after my friends turned it off since we were up big in the preseason and he had to go somewhere.. i nearly spilled my drink jumping out of my seat...

Yup. Williams and Hawkins are pretty much in a dead heat for who steps up in Kenny's spot. Kenny will be back so will Nate. We'll draft somebody, and either Avery will stick around, or it will be another FA signing or rookie, and one of Williams and Hawk is gone. Williams is younger and bigger. He wins out.
