    SUMMARY: It happens almost every season.

    The team who is hot in late December plays deep into the playoffs regardless if they play at home or on the road. In '06, the Pittsburgh Steelers made it to the Super Bowl as a Wild Card team after finishing 11-5.

    They were the #6 seed entering the playoffs.

    Thank God we wond the division, cuz I don't see us winning another game till we have haynesworth and KVB back.

    Especially if we play anything like we played against the stupid cows.

    It will be tough because the Steelers just find a way to win at the end whenever they need to. Even though I think the refs gave them the game with that bogus TD review call last night.

    The Colts are the team I think are going to sneak up on people...they just seem to be getting hot right now and that is a dangerous thing.

    We find ways to win games too. The titans are hungry now, the upset in houston has them feuled up for a big win. Ten will stomp Pit.

    Haha, interesting that the '05 Steelers were mentioned. Remember that Super Bowl? Do you even still remember who they beat? It was the Seahawks. Seems like pretty long ago now, doesn't it?

    Well, that was the last time you saw a quarterback NOT named Manning win the Super Bowl.

    we saw plenty of manning choke jobs that year also. he threw 7 ints and 3 tds in the playoffs/super bowl that year.

    the defense just miraculously went from worst to first in a single week.
