I don't know if anyone's mentioned this before but man sometimes I watch Larry Johnson highlights and he reminds me so much of Eddie in his prime.

Of course the number and face mask are the same but his stiff arm and some of his runs just remind me of Eddie....
I told my kids he looks like if Eddie went to the Chefs, that's what he'd look like.

    Just thought I'd add that.

wow i totally agree and have thought about that for some time now. im glad u posted that cause i didn't think anyone else saw that. yeah the running style is pretty close and the num and facemask make it look even more like eddie. that being said i hope eddie jr. runs wild on the colts today. im gonna say 180 rushing with 3 tds. kc 38 - 24

I wish we had drafted him instead of CB. It's interesting you point out the George comparisson because he does look a lot like him. However, how much they run him is bad. He may not survive much longer if they keep riding him they way they are. I remember reading a Shanon Sharpe column commenting on how many touches he got this year and how it was number that has ruined some RB's careers back in the day.

I think he had something like 416 carries this year that broke the season record. Remember in 2000 when Eddie had a chance to break it but didn't.

He wound up with 401 or something like that.

I do think that eventually catches up to you, with or without constant contact. It did with Eddie.

He won't be able to take it for long, they need to get some support. KC has been an interesting team to watch for the last 5 or 6 years... always struggling, never quite making it anywhere...

If Priest Holmes comes back to give KC a one two punch it will definately prolong Johnsons career. I don't think Herm Edwards is a good coach & although Johnson is getting paid to carry the ball players like him don't grow on trees. It's in their best interests to look after him rather than run him into the ground.

I can see it with the way he runs with power, but LJ has an explosiveness that Eddie never really had. Johnson has always averaged well over 4 ypc, something Eddie struggled to do even in his prime.

that was his comparison coming out, I agree completely although I say LJ is faster and more versatile...

I completely agree with you which puzzles me as to what happened today against an inferior (although inspired today) run defense. Chiefs need some o-line help it appears.
