very rarely will I throw cold water on a thread...............Nelson can't carry Landry's jock..............Landry will be HOF good................he is superfast and physical and can play in space or in the box.............only knock is ball hawking skills..............he is compared to Ronnie Lott and Donnie Shell...............Nelson is an athlete and hitter and he compares to well to Atkinson and DDarius..............solid player but Landry is elite.............Landry was hampered by a serious injury all yr and he was not allowed to play down low very much because of it.............but with the game on the line against ARK he told Jimbo Fisher he was going to stop McFadden and that is precisely what he did in crunch time................the film on Landry is deep and goes 4 yrs deep and he has been his teams leading tackler 4 yrs and in all of LSU history...............he is the backbone of a great college D and he will go very high..............the second best S is from FLa but not Nelson............it is Merriweather...........third best is Griffin from Texas........................Nelson will have to do so much in Mobile at combines and in work outs.................not impossible but not likely considering this deep class of S coming out................Jason Allen saved his best for Indy and Nelson will need the same post season to get up in the top 20

It's gonna be one hell of a race to see who gets #1 safety this year, but I reckon Landry will just beat out Nelson.

If Landry is compared to Lott, he'll have to be a ballhawk.

He's one of the all time career int leaders. If that's not ballhawking, I don't know what is.

OK, I can see Griffin ahead of Nelson, but Merriweather? Hasn't he stayed in trouble his entire time at Miami? He was also one of the guys that were suspended for the fight, wasn't he?
