Merriman was a complete tweener who had played both OLB and DE at Maryland. Tweeners usually go between picks 10 and 15. Adams also is a tweener and may be available in the 10 to 15 range.

Good points gut you made me think twice about us picking him because I was pretty high on him but I still wouldn't mind taking him but I am higher on Adams than him. Take Moses out of the equation hes been a no show all year.

Id rather have Adalius Thomas..And not have to worry about using a 1st day draft pick on a DE.

Woodley is more of an OLB in a 3-4 scheme, than a 4-3 DE, in my opinion. I'll wait and see what he does in his various workouts before passing final judgement, but he might not be big enough.

Could Adams be another Freak a.k.a Kearse?

I'm starting to think that way now myself. I'm starting to think if we continue our success, we're going to be in the right range to possibly draft a round one safety, or trade down. Thinking the draft is going to be the way to go to replace Thompson next year.

It's too bad Jared Allen is only RFA this year. I like him more than Thomas, i think he's a bited overhyped. And... he's gonna be expensive.
