    No, characters don't have to be realistic to be better designed. Thus the reason:

    A smooth detailed design beats a blocky undefined one. By my standards at least.

    Killzone 2 is so far graphically superior to Gears 2 those two pictures is pretty much how it looks.

    Hard to get excited for this one personally. It looks like it will be what Killzone 1 was to shooters at the time of it's release; look good, but be fairly bland in innovation and fun. I dunno, I'm just not "wow'd" at this juncture...
