Pretty good mock for your first one.

I'd take Flowers round 1 but if he fell to us round 2 I would be the happiest person ever but it's doubtful.

    Sweed top 5 though?

Any reason why the Raiders would take a receiver over McFadden?

I can't see any way the Patriots would pass on both Ellis and Dorsey if either was available when they picked.

No way Stewart is picked that early with his injury situation. I could see him going late in the 1st but not with the 13th pick and not before a healthy Mendenhall.

Reggie Smith in the 1st is also way too high

forgive me I'm a little drowsy

Highly doubt the Raiders will go WR in the first round after shelling out wads of cash to one overrated prima donna and a decent, at best, lanky WR

Patriots have to go Defense to bolster that aging, hurting unit - McFadden would be nice, but a waste of a pick

    Stewart's a wild card

You're seriously asking me to crawl into the mind of Al Davis? Who the heck knows what's going on in his gray matter, if anything? I've always heard he likes the deep pass game and, imo, they could go with anyone here and still come up a winner.

I picked McFadden for NE as the successor to Faulk. They certainly could go DT here.

I have them both rated about the same on my board. I could've just as easily picked Mendenhall first, and probably should have.

This is all dependent on where Kenny Phillips lands, who I'd rather see go to the Giants.

Like I said, This is my very first mock. I could run through it again next weekend and come up with something different; see things I missed the first time around.

Austin Bill - Do you have a mock?

He doesn't need one I could probably name his first couple picks just by reading his posts about his man crushes on Sweed, Charles, Finley, and Lokey.

    I'll try for him.

    1. Sweed
    2. Charles
    3. Whats his name
    4. Finley
    5. that dude
    6. Lokey
    7. Who cares its round 7

Sweed won't go in the first 10 picks...but solid job for your first mock draft. I'd have to say that I like Flowers in the second (even though its unlikely he'll be there)

and why won't the whole austin vs PA thing die? It's getting older than Bud Adams.

I'm just sick of hearing Texas this Texas that. His parochial view of things is annoying.
