Kenny Britt sucks thread...

The Titans best interest, does not include what kind of contract Britt wants at the end of the season.

 

I know that and we all know he wants to move on, I would think that when he is on the field he would play his best to "audition" for another team.

 

Britt knows it's a contract year. He knows the Titans don't plan on re-signing him. He will try to ball out the rest of the way. If Kenny can still do it, he should show it. As long as the coaches feel like that might happen, I support him and hope for the best. I know Kenny can still play much better than he did yesterday.

 

1. Britt is here "at most" until the end of the season. He was never going to be extended. Maybe franchised if he played well, but even that doesn't look good right now. He very well could turn things around, but 2013 is his last season as a Titan.

2. Britt isn't a #1. If he is he's the lousiest excuse for a #1 in the league. Three games in to the season and he has more drops than catches, as many penalties as receptions and more penalty yards than receiving yards.

He's a detriment and hasn't earned playing time right now. 2011 was a long time ago.

 

I totally agree with these last 2 posts.

I am down on Kenny just like everyone else, but it is still early in the season and Britt can still make this team a better team. His mistakes have allowed Hunter to get on the field which in the long run will help this team more.

Kenny does not want to fail. You can tell that he really really wants to make a play. I hope that he can put yesterday behind him and have a positive impact for the rest of the year.

A Britt playing up to potential and an improving Hunter gives Locker a nice pair of BIG targets to chuck the ball deep to.

 

I'm not saying he has no future in the league.

But 1st, 2nd, 3rd, whatever- a 34 yard catch being a TD or not means about.... well, absolutely nothing. Hate to tell you.

 

While Britt didnt have a good game. That block in the back penalty was a bunch of BS. That pass in the end zone was clear pass interference as well!

It's week 3. lol You guys crack me up. It's as if you're all new to the NFL.

These are the same types of posts that people were making about how the Titans were just DYING to get rid of Nate Washington because they were "upset" with him.

2. Britt is a #1. He's our #1. He's sucking balls right now, but he's still the #1.

Breathe. It's week 3.

Look around the league. Watch a few seasons worth. It's not unusual for a good player to struggle for periods of time.

Funniest part is- you guys are pretending he has a legit QB to actually help him out.

 

Well, his QB is 7th in the league in total QBR. That's not legit?

 

Britt sucks. He just causes drama. Titans need to go ahead and start working him out of the offense. I'd have no problem trading him IF ONLY we could get something for him, but we can't. So we are stuck with him for the rest of the year.

Maybe a light will come on and he'll realize he needs to show something in order to get paid from someone else next year.



Also, yes, a GAME WINNING TD on first NFL catch is a very good sign for Hunter's future. 1 catch and he's showing he is C-L-U-T-C-H.
