Titans receiver Kenny Britt paid tribute to teammate Vince Young last week by wearing a towel with #10 VY written on it. Now Britt is $5,000 poorer as a result.

Jim Wyatt reports that Britt said he has been fined for wearing the towel, but Britt isn’t sorry: He said he’d do the same thing again.

“No one in here wants to win a Super Bowl more than Vince,” Britt said.

Britt also said he would dedicate the rest of the season to Young, and referred to Young as the “franchise quarterback.” Which must make Jeff Fisher want to pull his hair out.

Kenny's way of giving Fisher the middle finger. I applaud the fact that he has the balls to speak his mind.

What does any of this have to do with Fisher? Fisher didn't bench Young for the season, Young got hurt "Again", that's why he is not playing. So again, I ask, what does any of this have to do with Fisher?

Fisher clearly doesn't like or respect Young. However, all the talented first round draft picks (Griff, CJ, Britt) do. His season ended in injury, yes. He'll be back next year though, and we all know Fisher will do everything he can to bench him in the event he's back too. A little respect from the coach would probably go a long way to help Vince's situation...

Perception is reality, guys. If Vince had a SB ring or that debacle in 2008 didn't happen then all of his 'antics' would be perceived entirely different. Fiery leadership, no tolerance for BS, etc. Fisher has had a job for 16 years so regardless of how many 8-8, 9-7, 7-9 seasons he dumps on us the perception is that he's 'hard nosed' and 'tough'. Misleading perception is the issue here.
