Which IMO is a wasted 1st round pick. We should have gone somewhere else! It was evident that the only reason he was getting open and was any good was b/c teams had to worry so much about RGIII!

Harvin this year had less than what the quote you mentioned. You think he isn't first round material?

Wright was built into the offense as run support. You can't send Washington, britt, cook and wright on all the same go route and expect someone to be magically open.

He needs to have specific plays that target the defense to get him good match ups.

Last year he was used as the underneath guy. How is that his fault for not being used like he was in college??

Every time he went deep the defender was step for step. He wasnt able to create any separation!

Exactly. You have to build the proper plays that screw up the defense and gives him a chance. Not everyone is Wallace and can just BURN the defense with shear speed. 14 extra lbs is uhhhh alot to carry as well.

I'm not saying he is for sure the "deep threat" he was prepped as. However I think he can lead in catches on this team ala welker for the pats.

God people are so misinformed on Kendall. In what world is a receiver who can catch exceptionally well and run 4.4 or better not a potential deep threat. Please watch his college tape. He routinely went right by Big XII corners and safeties and was incredibly hard to tackle in the open field. RG3 did help but it was mainly by throwing amazingly accurate deep balls that hit Kendall in stride after he was already by the defender. RG3's running ability did serve to keep defenses honest but the end resullt was more time in the pocket for Kendall to smoke DB's, which he did all the time.
