I honestly didn't know where Welker was before NE or how he did. I'm simply saying your criticism for welker you could substitute him for 95% of receivers and it would still be true.

Cleo Lemon would is not considered mediocre. Welker would make a mediocre QB look like a good QB. Fitxpatrick is mediocre. Why hasn't it worked out? Welker was not a product of the NE system. You contradicted your own argument.

    Baylor's receivers were pretty legit...

Wright, Josh Gordon, Terrence Williams, and Tevin Reese were on the field at the same time.

    I'm sure that didn't hurt RGIII's game.

The reason it hasn't worked out is because his replacement has missed like 4 games. Welker was extremely fortunate to be picked up by Denver, not have to play outside, and have Manning as a QB and everyone knows this. Also when you say product of a system it doesn't necessarily mean that anyone who steps into that position will have the exact same level of success. Just because Amendola hasn't put up Welker-like numbers doesn't mean that a lot of Welker's success didn't come from playing under that system.

Also Welker isn't being asked to do anything in Denver he wasn't asked to do in NE. Maybe it's not the same system but he's doing the same ole sh** he's always done.Denver is wisely playing to his strengths. I'll put it like this; Welker had put up #1 WR numbers in NE. Why wasn't anyone willing to pay him even close to #1 money? You know the answer.
