    Not only that, but we throw the longest pass of the day at the biggest juncture of the game without our starting Left Tackle on the field and he's surprised Mariota faced pressure that ended the game?

    Dooley had no credentials to even get considered for the job. He was upside down in the W-L column during his brief stint as HC for a WAC team. No reason why he should have ever been the coach. Kevin Sumlin was immanently more qualified than he was, even though he wasn't in the BIG SPLASH category.

    With that said, Dooley wasn't nearly as soft and conservative as Jones was. Dooley was just a *****, who never recruited that well nor had the resume to convince recruits or players, alike, that he knew what he was doing....let alone win a lot of games.

    Butch still has that softness tendency. He got behind most of the game, so that tendency didn't have a chance to surface again, in that UGA game. Just wait....he's stubborn as hell. Just like Wiz. It takes a lot more than just a heap of public criticism. Wiz showed that he was scared of Buffalo's D, even though they had injuries in their secondary.

    They aren't even in the same ballpark. Dooley sucked in all phases of his job including recruiting and never had a big win. He ran ut into the ground. Butch has rebuilt the talent and just got a signature win.

    Outside of mariota, which isn't even whis call, what has whis done? The titans are the worst they've ever been.

    Butch was simply able to sell the program, lavish, brand-new facilities and had a winning resume coming in...have to give him that. But, even at UC, he showed a lot of the same uber-conservative, coach from the fetal position late in games, tendencies. He did that last year against UF. A team that, like this year, had absolutely NO business beating this team. He did the same thing the year before against Vandy...at home, in Knoxville. He choked. Coached scared and lost because of it.

    You also have to consider that Butch, with a LOT more talent, has EXACTLY the same record as Dooley, at this point in his career....3yrs in. THAT is alarming, to say the least. So, Butch might be a slight improvement over Dooley, but that ain't saying a lot. What's more is, this year recruiting has dropped off remarkably, so he's right back into the same territory Dooley was, having to get by with a lot of 3 stars.

    He has to show he can win, with all the talent he now has....rather than make excuses, cause at the end of the day, recruits ain't trying to hear a bunch of excuses. They want to play where they know they can win a lot of games, and hopefully play early.

    Oh, I'm not a big Butch fan what so ever. However, I try to be fair and the team appeared well coached and prepared for the GA game despite the adversity they faced this week. They were a few dropped passes away from blowing GA out. The play calling was pretty good and allowed good players to make plays despite in game adversity. I'm not sold on Butch yet but maybe, just maybe despite all the stubborn coach speak he if figuring some things out. We will see. Whiz on the other hand has a long record of sub part football with the exception of one big year with an all time great qb, (which he didn't develop by the way.)

    Whiz could coach circles around Butch Jones.

    Some of y'all are probably better with X's and O's than Butch Jones.

    Whiz know football.

    Butch knows how to get 21 year old kids excited. That's about it.

    That's great that whiz could coach circles around Whiz....could you name an NFL coach he could out coach with comparable talent? Judging by the last two seasons that list is pretty slim.
