Munch was optimistic, Wiz is setting a new standard. New Culture.
we've never had this attitude in tn and I love it. We had fish and munch's bull####, that nobody could buy into. This guy will turn this team around and make us a constant contender for years. Got the coach all we need now is a qb.
Coach has balls. Munchak would never say that he expects a Super Bowl. Fisher would never say that. That requires balls. Set the bar high. Munchak never did that. He and fish would give a canned line about "working hard" and "competing."
The only thing he promised is that he "wouldn't let the fans down" which was obviously not true.
Low standards vs. high standards.
Anyone can talk the talk let's see if Whiz is the guy to walk the walk. This is a non-story.
No remember, Munchak said - "we will not disappoint you this season". Then comes a 7-9 record.
Ok this thread has lived its life, time to make it about something else.
So which of the position coaches are we most excited about in 2014?
Here they are for you in a list
Bob Bostad Offensive Line
Steve Brown Assistant Secondary
Louie Cioffi Defensive Backs
Sylvester Croom Running Backs
Nick Eason Assistant Defensive Line
Steve Hoffman Assistant Special Teams
Shawn Jefferson Wide Receivers
Nate Kaczor Special Teams
John McNulty Quarterbacks
Mike Mularkey Tight Ends
Kevin Patullo Assistant Wide Receivers
Arthur Smith Offensive Line/Tight End Assistant
Giff Smith Defensive Line
Lou Spanos Linebackers
Mike Sullivan Assistant Offensive Line
I'm most excited about Spanos because I'm interested to see if he can get our backers back on track. If he can we might be on our way to a top 10 D assuming we can hold on to our FA's. I'm also can't wait to see Wright reach the next level in his development and watch Hunter become a human highlight reel.
See, if we didn't have CJ to fight about we could be good buddies. Great choice on Spanos. Im also really anxious to see where he takes these LB's.
Has to be Bostad. If we have learned anything the past three years, it is that we won't improve as a team until the O-line puts their crap together and becomes the top 10 line we have invested in.
