Why they get the most money if they can't budget there money and survive off millions of dollars then well don't expect me to sympathize for you.

Hey re re. I'm not sympathizing for them. I'm just relating it to how they are enslaved to football.

That is absolutely false my man. We as a collective absolutely can change what laws we choose to follow. Look at Washington and Colorodo. Weed is now legal like alcohol.

And this is kinda my point. Your comments suggest they just need to deal with it until it changes, but really they should be motivated to speak up, take action, as well as recruit others to get behind their cause as a collective and change it.

They're not enslaved. Your argument is bad and you should feel bad.

Scholarship is a funny way the NCAA disguises whats really going on..

Those guys dont get a "scholarship" in the way people think, the classes they take in no way further their education, they're dummy courses.

These guys gets no piece of the pie they helped bake, what the NCAA does is as close to slavery as you'll find in America.

Right, exactly. And if you think those guys actually have time to study and really focus on their scholarships is laughable. The sport will consume their life.

I have no problem with speaking up and creating awareness but they willfully agreed to a scholarship and knew the possible ramifications. They are responsible for their actions. Clearly we can change laws that we find unfair but until those laws change you are held responsible for breaking them until after the change occurs. Yes Marijuana is now legal in Colorado and Washington but if you were caught with the same drug in the same state a few years earlier you could have faced criminal charges. These guys didn't have to take the scholarship money, the chose to.

Sometimes that's the only way they can get into school.

Again choice. Many of these guys CHOOSE to take dummy courses because it's easier and they have a better chance of staying eligible. No one is stopping them from majoring in Biochemistry, Microbiology. or Theoretical physics. There are guys out there who have their head on straight and recognize that their athletic gifts are a blessing that allow them the opportunity to receive a world class education for free and they take advantage of it. How many of us received a free education at a great school?

Yes you're right, its not "slavery" but its as close as you'll find in our majestic America.
