    per Jim Wyatt, he is mulling over a restructure that would have him take a paycut. He is does not accept it, he could be cut. I hope it takes it, he should improve a lot with the new D.

    I think its funny how players are expected to honor contracts but teams are not. This is modern day slavery

    Whatever. It works both ways. X Player feels they are outperforming their contract. They hold out and force a new deal. Front office feels X Player isn't living up to their contract. They threaten to cut to force a restructure.

    Either contracts are guaranteed or they are not. In the NFL, they are not. So both sides work that fact to their advantage.

    You don't want to overpay underproducing players. He is grossly overpaid, and can be easily replaced with someone 1/4 of his price tag. It's smart economics. He hasn't earned that.


    I wish I were a modern day slave. I could make 1 million for one year, and hardly have to work again. SLAVERY!
