I think this is important. My gut feeling was she's coming out at a time that makes her seem like she's out for money. If she's been cheering for him and going to games since his college days hoping to one day meet with him, that just seems like someone who may want to legitimately get to know her son. I could see the media spinning it into something to sell a story though.
