For those of you interested in Cam Newton, Kaepernick is the better version IMO... but you can see him now on ESPN vs Boston College.

6'6 , 219, runs a 4.4... and can throw just as well as Cam. Plus, he doesn't come with half the drama of being an idiot.

This guy could be taken much later than reaching for Newton, also.

He has a weak wind up throw. Like the old Tim Teabow

That release is a huge tell to safeties and corners. He has an arm, but he's a project.

Where does the numbers of him running a 4.4 come from?

The 40 yard dash from college to NFL is totally different. Even Newton may not run a NFL 4.5.

That's just the word. Commentators mentioned his 4.4 as I was watching, but I'm not certain.

He's playing with a bunch of nobodies though.

Yea that's a college run 4.4. When he goes through the combine that will most likely go up to a 4.6 or something. If he is really fast it will be a like a 4.5. They say add a millisecond when you make the jump.
