Your original statement said traditional pure pocket passer. They are mobile qbs. They are not traditional pure pocket passers. Back to my original statement.

I don't give a **** were they throw the ball from, I just want them to hit the target. Aaron Rodgers and the rapist throw the ball from outside the pocket all the time. If you are going to call them traditional pure pocket passers as you did, then you are redefining traditional and pure.

I said I want a traditional pure pocket passer but you talked about Rodgers and big ben, I didn't. However, both Qbs are pocket passers that CAN throw outside the pocket when NEEDED to. There is a difference between Rodgers and a Cam Newton, Kaepernick, Wilson, etc. For instance, Andrew Luck is a pocket passer but can throw on the move or run. Still a pocket passer.

Just for you, I'll take away the "pure"...

Of course the Titans drafted a WR (Dyson) ahead of Randy Moss in the first round. Epic fail!!!!!!!!

That day was the maddest I have been at this franchise.

20 NFL teams passed on Randy Moss.

No one had any idea how good he'd be.

You have no idea how devastated I was. I grew up playing against Randy here in WV throughout junior high and high school. I knew how special he was as a player and knew the off the field concerns were overblown. The man smoked a blunt while at Florida State. So what? I reckon maybe 1% of all college players who smoke blunts get in trouble for it. Notre Dame dropped their offer to him after he beat the living hell out of a dude his senior year in high school. Little known fact is the guy said some unrepeatable disgusting racial things to Randy's face and got exactly what he deserved. I told anyone that would listen before that draft that Randy Moss should be the 1st pick and any team that drafted before he was picked would regret not taking him instead of the player they did. I would have bet everything I own on him being the best WR in football within 2 years. I was right too. I was crushed to say the least when we drafted Dyson. The first thing Randy said to me when I saw him at the mall (while wearing my Titans gear) after Minnesota drafted him was "You a Titans fan? They picked the wrong receiver bro." I agreed.

I had a sinking feeling they would go with Dyson over Moss. But still I wanted to see it. And sure enough they did. The funny thing about the "Character" stuff is that it did not make any sense. The Bears cited character as the reason they did not take Moss then went ahead and took Curtis Enis who was facing rape charges.

If you see Randy again you can let him know there was a really pissed off Oiler/Titan fan in Canada the day of that draft.

Time to get him on the field. He couldn't possibly put in less effort than Britt out there.

Or at least get Britt out of the way of guys who can do something. Nate, Kendall and D-Will along with Hunter should all be ahead of Britt.

I can agree with that. My idea of pocket passer would be a Drew Bledsoe type. I don't want a statue back there in the pocket. I like the idea of some escapability. We don't need to try and turn a runner into a pocket passer though.
