Raiders biggest problem on defense last year, was there only Lb that was good in coverage(Sam Williams) was lost for season in preseason. Without any coverage LBs, team unmerciful pick on them, with the Tes and RB. This forced the Raiders to play a big nickel defense. When your playing more DBs than LBs, your not goping to defend against the run as well.
Its no accident that Raiders have really upgraded their speed and coverage ability at LB. NJow that they have real LBs , the fake ones(DEs-Like T Brayton and G Irons) can move back to De where they belong.

Second Brooks is on a very short leash, Raiders love andrew Walter and looks like he wil be the guy that takes over in 2007.(could be alot sooner if Brooks struggles early.)
Raiders have unbelievable young depth everywhere. Like AL davis says, the greatness of the Raiders lies in its future. What a bright future.)
