Just reported on ESPN, Joe Paterno is near death

    At 5:15 Central Saturday, Sources from ESPN said that Joe Paterno is at near death, and family members are at the hospital to give there final moments with Joe,

    R.I.P Joe Pa you will be missed.

    Sad, Joe Pa was from the "best generation" and I am sure had no idea of how to deal with the things that happened. Not the way he should have went out.

    Joe Pa's treatment through all that was terrible. Everyone focused more on him than Sandusky.

    his error in judgement, and the other higher ups at PSUs failure too act, allowed more victims.

    It is a shame that Paterno will always be linked to this scandal

    I don't know what to think of this thread......

    I think he could have done more (much, much more) but to try and say he did not deserve his fair share of the blame is naive. He could have ended it and everyone knows it.

    I'm not sure that the scandal is what's killing him. He's 85 years old. That's old...
