    I'm not sure Rivers is worth our #3 pick anyway. When speculation about trading for Rivers first surfaced we didn't know exactly where we would draft and Brees wasn't hurt. If we were picking around #10 the Rivers deal straight up looked like a possible scenario. Now it is less likely.
    Also, if McNair wasn't going to be back Rivers might be a better choice than Young or Leinart if we needed a QB to start day one. Chow would have alot of insight in how Rivers stacked up compared to Leinart. Again, Rivers might be the better option based on Chow's opinion of him. Obviously if Chow likes Rivers more than Leinart (or Young) it would make sense to go in that direction. Problem we don't know what Chow is thinking. Certainly Rivers would have to better acclimated to the NFL and should be able to step in and play at a higher level than a rookie.
