If I'm Maurice or the Jacksonville front office I"m on the phone trying to make something happen. MoJo has some good value right now.

The front office could potentially turn a liability into an asset by sending him away. That's a win win for both sides in my book.

 

He may still be the best back in the league. Led the league in rushing last season, and he did it being the only weapon on that Godforsaken team, and that MASH unit for an O-Line.

 

I can't imagine any team being able to trade enough assets for Mojo. Dude wants to get paid, since he's arguably the best RB in the NFL. Khan is refusing to pay players holding out. So it looks like there in a pickle right now. I heard on ESPN they'll only trade Mojo is a trade comes in that blows the Jags away... which is unlikely.

 

There's not much trade value with RBs in the league.

These are probably the type of offers they'd receive:
2nd round pick
DeAngelo Williams + 4th round pick.
Ahmad Bradshaw +5th round pick.

When a player feels they're the best at their position, that's when you don't bother talking to them. Can't believe I'm about to suggest this, but the Jaguars are handling this the right way. Let him hold out, or if you can move him, move him and improve your team.

He's an older RB with lots of miles on him, he won't be as good going forwards. Try selling his abilities to the highest buyer.

 

If I was Schwartz and Detroit, I'd be all over this. MJD is just what that Lions offense needs.

 

We'll give them CJ and our entire 2013 draft...
