    For the hit in reference...

He leads with his shoulder, into the chest of the receiver. The WR has caught the ball and is not in a defenseless position. More importantly, no flag was thrown. I really fukcing hate Roger Goodell.

I can't tell if he lead with his helmet or shoulder. I, also can't tell if his helmet hit the receivers face mask. I have no idea what evidence (other angles) the NFL might have looked at to determine that he would be fined. Did they give a specific reason like helmet to helmet etc?

His head looked like it was up and he was, at the very least, trying not to lead with his head

The way I viewed it, he leaned his head to the side to make sure he wasn't leading with it but to make sure to lead with the shoulder.

The refs didn't think it was dirty, but the NFL does?

Also, this hit was featured on NFL.com and labeled as "spectacular." Now it's fine worthy.

Looks like helmet to helmet to me... but with that video it's really hard to tell.

We need a new commish, pronto. I'm all for player safety, but it's gone too far. All the players aiming for the knees now.. just terrible. Though Goodell means well, he will be the death of this sport.
