Look, I'm not trying to down McFadden. I think he could turn out to be a good NFL back. But your argument doesn't hold any water. You are using different standards to evaluate these RB's. All I am saying is that CJ looks to be much more than a "one trick pony" like you have branded him.

McFadden got half his yards in the second quarter. More than likely by that time the 49ers were already playing their second stringers. Also, the 49ers were ranked lower last year than the Rams in Rushing Defense, giving up 1,896 yards in 2007. The Rams gave up 1,844 yards in 2007.

Run head first...trip over your own feet and other players. Run blindly again...fall down. His best run came when he tried his college moves by going outside, and any other back would have gained way more by beating the defender, but what does D-Mac do??

Sorry. Darren McFadden was the most overrated college running back within the last 5 years. Including Bush. Felix Jones was better than McFadden was. At least he showed the ability to do things without great blocking. He can make cuts (McFadden can't), he can make people miss (McFadden never has), and he can break tackles (McFadden tackles himself 90% of the time).

Raiders will be looking for a new running back within 2 years.

Thats a little critical gloat. He was really good in college, and we have to atleast give McFadden the opportunity to live up to his hype.

-edit- plus he is already better than Henry will most likely ever be.

McFadden is grossly overrated, and was the result of the AP hype of taking a tremendous talent early and getting great dividends. He'll be a fine back though, just not as good as his position will dictate IMHO.
