There was a ton of frustration building up in this game on the Titans side with all the blown calls by the refs and 12 out of 15 going the Texans way. They were down big and getting whooped by a division rival. The team looked liked they had given up. Finny steps up and honestly shows that he is still in the game. I don't approve how he did it but he was within what you see in games every Sunday. but also displayed the play right before that one but the shoe was on the other foot. A. J.'s reactions were clearly way over the top. I cannot in good conscience think that this is a fair judgment by the the league. But what I take most from this game is the inept officiating in this game. They neither made good calls nor controlled the teams. I just don't think everyone is seeing the bigger picture here. And then the NFL compounds it by no suspensions. This does not look good for the NFL at all.

First of all . . . Does it matter?
    Second . . . ???
Third . . . Illegal hands to the face doesn't warrant aj's reaction
Fourth . . . No he didn't, and it's not "getting your butt whipped" if the other guy punches like a girl and doesn't do any damage
Fifth . . . I never complained about name-calling. You asked where you did it and I pointed it out for you.

    It's good to hear that

...like a thug! ...but obviously that is OK since he has never done anything like that before. Just let it slide so the Eagle game will be a little less embarrassing for the Texans. Chu-ching!

I think that pretty much covers it. You hear it all the time " he was a very nive quiet boy" . "I never expected he would be the type to go wild in a shopping mall with an AK47".

Wouldn't Innegans actions be considered taunting, because that is against the rules. The ref should have stepped in and warned Innegan to cut it out but didn't.....hmmm maybe he hates Innegans style of play to and he'd just wait for AJ to go off and .....nahhh.
I guess the biggest hole in my theory is Innegan had no reason to taunt,he'd have to do something first.

I know AJ is a good guy but why do people act like AJ is a saint? It's not the first time he's been involved in extra-ciricular activities. He's been fined for yanking Finnegan down by the facemask before.

The league hates Innegan, he's a punk. People like to see punks get slapped upside the head. Hence why Andre is only getting a slap on the wrist....hell behind closed doors he's probably getting a pat on the back.

LMAO...yeah a judge is really going to approve a case of "assault" where the person who was "assaulted" instigated the entire fight and threw the first punch. For Christ's sake the homerism is strong on this board.

:ha: REALLY ?!? because Innegan clearly threw the first punch.

The freaking commentator even says "Innegan gets the first shot"......but lets all sit here with our Columbia blue glasses on and act like Innegan wasn't trying to start a fight and how he's a victim. The guy got everything that he deserved.....honestly he probably could've used another punch.

Why is this still an argument? There is clearly no innocent party. Are we arguing on who is "more guilty" now? Neither of them saw significant punishments. It's over.

I think the fines are BS! BUT reputation is EVERYTHING in this case. Andre Johnson has been all class before the fight and Finnegan has been labeled the dirtiest player in the league so go figure.

It's not fair but I understand why they came to this. Both should have been suspended at least 1 game. Johnson should be suspended for the rest of the year. Had Finnegan or James Harrison been the one who landed those punches, they would have dropped the hammer on em.

Fighting should not be tolerated. A little bit of healthy trash talk is one thing but when you're ripping helmets off and throwing real dukes then you've just jumped way over the line. I'm not saying Finnegan shouldn't be suspended either but I am saying that Andre Johnson got off way too easy.

And when I saw the postgame locker room feed where Kubiak gave Andre Johnson the gameball, I was like WTF?
