Johnson/Finnegan fight & NFL punishment

Umm yeah. It's absolutely absurd if no suspensions come from this. AJ should be suspended for punching a helmet-less player. Cortland should probably be suspended only because he's been warned multiple times this season. Take off the 2-tone blue glasses guys, Finnegan isn't even close to innocent in all this.

I'm starting to think Goodell has some kind of Wheel of Fortune he spins to dole out these punishments.

This, IMO, is the reason the league's system of punishment is a joke...the comish can base it on anything he wants...weigh it any way he wants.

Last week even the talking heads agreed that if someone had hit Manning or Brady instead of Big Ben that someone would have likely been suspended.

I can not believe the players' union allows this.

AJ should have been out a full game. Period. And, in light of his past fines and being on notice, Finn probably should have been out a full game as well.

Cortland threw one too, to the side of AJ's helmet. Plus, he ripped off AJ's helmet and instigated it, has been warned, and has a history of being dirty.

Even if he did instigate it, he wasnt the only one jawing and taking cheep shots before the fight. They had both been goin at it most of the game and both equally responible. Andre is the one that lost his cool and turned it into a boxing match. No matter what finny's reputation is, there is just no excuse for that

My thought is Innegan gets both fined and suspended. He's recently been warned by the league that his next outbreak of being an asshat would result in suspension.

AJ should be suspended, he threw THREE punches to a guy's head(all while Finnegan wasn't even looking), but for the sake of my playoff run, I'm happy...

So, what you are saying is, AJ is known to instigate problems with other corners around the league? Nope, not at all is he?

Look, Finnegan is known for this type of behavior, it doesn't stop with AJ.... Andre Johnson ISN'T known to have problems with other players around the league.... so if we use deductive reasoning, it would lead MOST people to the conclusion that Finnegan is the problem here, not AJ.

Both deserved to be fined, neither suspended. It's football, there's suppose to be fights! I'm just glad some players are finally showing emotion. Finny is a fire-cracker and so is Andre.

I'm not mad Andre dodged a suspension. Minus the fact he's a Texan, he's normally a cool guy. I bet I'd wanna punch Cortland too if he tried that crap on me. Have none of you thrown a punch during a game? I know I have.

AJ has zero problems with anyone in the NFL....Except innagan.
That can be said about all the other recievers in the league.(they all know he's a little )
Innagan should be suspended for a game.....he was warned repeatedly.
Andre is the most laid back player in the NFL and innagan is a trouble making punk !!! I realy dont see why you guys think this is anyone fault but innagans.
