I'm more concerned about stopping the run.

yeah, I think one of the best ways to help VY is to get him on the field, i.e. our D getting off the field on 3rd down.

The best thing for Young is to take the pressure off of him by having a strong running game and a defense/special teams who makes plays.

The games that he did the worst in, he was on the field the least. I like the idea of shoring up the safety position to help with run and pass defense.

With Young at the helm, my biggest concern isn't getting it done on offense. We can get it done, it just won't be pretty. Stopping the other side is the big problem.

Ok, I'm lost about this comment from Clayton:
"If new weapons don't emerge, it could be hard for him to repeat his success in 2007."

Young had 12 TD's, 13 int's, 52% completion percentage and the worst passer rating in the NFL (66.7). If I were a Titan fan, I hope he wouldn't repeat his "success".

    You've been blinded by stats,
you didn't see how VY stepped in as a starter of a winless team with no direction, and brought them together and made a team, to where they had a winning record in games he (VY) started.

I also agree that a win is a win, no matter how it happened.
