We've had such bad luck signing FA WR's in the last ten or so years, that I am a bit scared off by this also. It sounds like a pretty good fit at first, just like Pickens, and Thigpen did. Wasn't it George Henshaw that left our staff and joined NO last year? We could get an insider's opinion on Horn at least.

    Well...

The only way I'd sign Horn is for about 1mil (slightly more than 10 yr vet minimum I think) with incentives if he has a dominating performance. Considering he'd want more and a nice signing bonus....no thanks.

We'll see how much Bennett costs to re-sign and Wade too. They're not great but certainly serviceable at the right price. I'd also check into other guys...like a Kevin Curtis, Ashley Lelie, ect.

Point is, we can get a Pro Bowl caliber CB to help shore uo the secondary. I'd give up the 1-2mil for a fa WR to get a stud CB to put opposite Pacman. Get AThomas, Freeney or some other IMPACT player (Rod Coleman?). That would have a much BIGGER impact than a slight upgrade at WR. That would allow us to upgrade the team with the best posible players in rnds 1 and 2 of the draft (FS, MLB, DT, WR, OG/OT, RB, DE).

RB? OT? Do you really think there's any chance that we'd go for either in rounds 1 or 2? Sure, if Peterson fell in round 1, or something crazy, but I really don't think we'll see either of those that high. We're more set up to draft depth at those positions if they come around.

Were going to be fine at reciever. I can almost guarentee you that Donte Stallworth will be a Titan. Were going to have one of the best young Reciever squad.

    Stallworth
    Givens
Bennett (i like him shut up)
    Jones(could be our number 2)
    Wade(underratted like mad)
Orr(still have high hopes for this dude)

    I like the optimism
Not sure Stallworth is guaranteed to be a Titan, but if we don't at least have him in town for a few days and offer him some significance, I'll be highly irrate

I'd amend your list to exclude Bennet, he's gone. an article out this morning quotes him as saying that the Titans will have too make a serious offer to retain him

and BJ will be our #1 receiver next year with Givens being #3 (yes)
Stallworth or Wade will be #2
