Yes! exactly WHO did we miss out on?!?!

Williams, who The FO would not have given nearly that much money to?

Abraham, who probably wanted to be a Falcon anyway??

People are acting like there is a front office consisting of one person here. Because you are trying hard for one free agent doesn't mean that they are not looking at anyone else.

Go ahead and argue the fact that Abraham DIDN'T get produce consistently. You can't. He would have been signed and would have helped our line (given the fact that he has statistically been consistent for some time now).

We need more sacks and turnovers on this defense. For the love of god, stop acting like the draft is a sure thing. Everyone here knows that it isn't. Why can't you get that through your head?

Dont forget we still have a veteran 3500+ yard QB on our roster. The Peyton Manning loss wouldnt be that great. Of course, if wouldnt be terrible if we signed him either. The team may or may not take a step forward with Manning at QB.

I do think we have had a chance to sign Abraham but at this point thats just speculation. The Titans would not have made that move unless he was a value. The Jason Jones resigning would have been a nice move to complete a good DT rotation. If hes paid 1 million more than any player on the line then so be it. He is aguably the best DL player we would have had, sadly.

Lastly, they should have paid Finnegan. The team would have progressed through the draft while they could purge players taking up cap space currently on the roster. They are now left with an average secondary and an awful DL. I dont see any hope at improving the DL this year outside of landing Coples and that may be nearly impossible.

The only changes made to the roster now is that they have lost Finnegan who undoubtedly was a significant loss. Additionally, the Titans have failed to make any significant aquisitions (Hutchinson replaces Jake Scott which I dont consider a significant upgrade).

Abraham isn't that good. At first I wanted him but after reading up on him he isn't all that great and at his age it is unlikely he will be worth the contract he would have demanded. He got 7 mil from Atlanta so figure more than that to switch teams.

Assuming we can sign a guy like Mark Anderson and still draft a solid value DE or two we will be young but not in too bad of shape. You have to hope that Morgan, a guy we spent the #16 spot in the draft on can provide some production.

As for C we can still maybe get a guy like Koppen pretty cheap and have na upgrade and I think that might be the direction the team might go instead of using an early pick on Konz or someone else.

I like Sampson Satele from the Raiders. If we dont land a significant improvement over our current center I think Konz is the way to go assuming DeCastro is already gone.

Abraham... Abraham that didn't generate any interest league-wide and signed with his same team again? That Abraham?

Yeah, I'm POSITIVE we would have signed him if we weren't looking at a Quarterback.

    ....

He had 10 sacks last season and had 1.5 sacks in the Super Bowl. I don't think it would hurt to have him on the roster.

I'd try to sign both him and Wimbley.
