Jevon Kearse coming Wednesday...

    Well, we're in the market for a DE. Why not fill it with a freak?

    i could see jevon coming back to tennessee and returning to his old form, just a little older

    i was a huge freak fan when he was with us and i would like to see him back... but not as a starter, maybe a situational rusher

    sign him to cheap contract.. even a one year deal, and let him battle it out with bryce fisher... loser gets cut.

    Kearse to Visit Titans Wednesday

    SUMMARY: The "Freak" makes a return to Baptist Sports Park tomorrow as a free agent. He was recently released by the Eagles after signing a eight-year, $66 million deal with them in 2004. Kearse was the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1999, went to the Pro Bowl in his first three seasons and recorded 47.5 sacks in five seasons with the Titans. Yesterday, the Titans lost Antwan Odom to the Bengals and Travis LaBoy to the Cardinals.

    I don't think it'll be between Kearse and Bryce. I think they will bring in any vet and a draft pick or 2.
    I think Kearse could do well on the opposite side of KVB. Look what KVB did for LaBoy, a 22 million $ contract.

    If someone is still desperate for a DE and offres him big bucks, then just back away. If not, then he may be worth a small contract and a shot here again.

    I still think we'll probably focus on DE high in the draft even after being reunited with Kearse.

    He shouldn't come around to big of a price. I'm expecting Travis Laboy numbers. I'd really like to have him back just because he can finish his career here.

    Offer him a one year, $3 mil deal that is layered with incentives. If he gets injured, let him go.
