Jets claimed TE Matthew Mulligan and P A.J. Trapasso off waivers from the Titans.

Glad to see AJ get a shot, he was fun to watch.

 

I wanted aj on the practice squad. It's cool, he really isn't a great punter. His highlights are a fake punt. And hitting a scoreboard.

 

I'm sure he's getting some nice press in New York. Good for him, and good luck. Hope someone as promising comes along when Hentrich decides to hang 'em up.

 

Remind me what highlights Craig has. And did AJ even punt this preseason?

It would be ridiculous to keep a punter for the PS when you can get a legitimate football player. Trapasso was fun to watch though, but in the end, he will just be a punter. The novelty will wear off eventually.

 

I'm sure he's got some, he has an arm. But once again, they're punters.
