    55% voted against fisher? :sad2:
wow what a difference 6 games make. The last time i posted here, almost all posters were exultant with Jeff as head coach, and wouldn't even think about losing him for the world. 6 games later, 55% want him gone.

    Sad.

"Per John Czarnecki, if Titans owner Bud Adams decides to fire coach Jeff Fisher, he would be a top candidate to replace Wade Phillips in Dallas.
Dallas is sitting at 3-2 before today's matchup in Atlanta. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, though, has said several times that Phillips will not be fired in-season, but if the team doesn't make the playoffs it would be a safe bet that his 2010 option won't be picked up. Fisher would be a hot commodity in the offseason if he does get let go."

When a team with the best record in the league last season goes 0-6 and gets blown out 3 weeks in a row (not to mention a lot of the players have obviously quit) how is it surprising that 55% want the HC gone?

I'll assume that's a joke on your part - but just in case, you'd be replacing the guy who wore a Manning jersey with a guy that traded his entire draft for one player.. As bad as 0-6 is, Ditka ruined that team for years with one fell swoop.

No Ditka please. He's pro Jeff Fisher. With Mike your basically getting the same as you have in Jeff, but older.

Ask any football fan what they thought of Ditka as a HC and and the majority would say he was a joke.A very bad coach.

Well has has a better record than Jeff Fisher.:hmm:

    Ditka 1982-1999 127 wins 101 losses %.557 SB 1-0
    Fisher 1994- 124 wins 104 losses %.536 SB 0-1

He's running the same 4-3 in Detroit as he did here. It doesn't work anymore. The Lions are also getting zero pressure on the QB.
