    Even in 1983 the ultimate year for hall of fame QBs(three elway, kelly marino) there was one bust, todd blackledge and first rd picks tony eason and pat ryan were only average players.

    In short even in that ultimate year to draft a QB in the first rd you still had a 50% chance of not getting a star. No way you can assume that all three will be stars there is simply too much talent at the top of this draft outside those QBs.

    I just saw 2 guys on cold pizza predict the first rd and they had cutler going 7th to the raiders and lienart going 10th to the cards. They had young going to us. If we were drafting 7th or 10th we could afford to just take whatever QB falls to us but at 3rd we darn well better get the right guy.

    You know I've thought about that....I guess it just depends on who we draft....maybe: didntdraftcutler or..... damnwhycutler....or who knows? :ha:
