I mean yeah, obviously the quarterback who completed only 55% of his passes in the PAC-10 during his senior year at Washington is well on his way to being a good NFL quarterback. The stats from his last 5 games at the Univ. of Washington: 53 completions / 100 attempts; 53% comp.; 130.2 yards per game; 3 TDs; 5 interceptions. Sounds like a future all-pro to me.
There is only one way to prove or disprove this, so, while I disagree with your prediction, I do agree that it is time to find out. One thing is pretty certain....with Nate, DWill, Wright, Cook, and hopefully Britt, we will not be able to blame bad receiving for passing issues this season, regardless of who is playing.
Ohh, so we didn't draft your guy. When I started reading your post I thought you were either blind or insane. Now I see that you're just upset that we didn't draft your favorite QB. Most people wouldn't admit to that. Lose the bias and just watch the guy play.
Regardless if you like or don't like Locker he was the 8th pick of the draft and needs to be the QB. Hass has had QB rating the last four years of 82,73,75 and 58 and is going to be 37 years old. He only threw 18 TDs to 14 ints last season. He threw only 5 TDs in the last 8 games of the year and threw 8 ints. His performance against Indy, the worst team in the NFL was zero TDs, 2 ints and a 60 QB rating. We lose to TB, another crap team if not for the running game (2 ints and a 54 QB rating). The only game he had worth anything in the last 8 games was a 2 TD performance against the Texans 2nd team defense. The guy was horrible the last half of the year....period. The Atlanta game is another indication of how bad the guy is. They stuffed the run so Hass had to do it threw the air. He did all right. No TDs, and int, 52% completion rate and a 54 QB rating. Thats the game Locker came in and threw 2 TDs.
