we are not going to be the chargers if we play like we did yesterday, and we may have trouble with the jets.

I didn't like running the ball out of the end zone when they were blitzing and putting at least 8 in the box. I wanted us to to wing it and take a chance on a big play. So what if we get a holding penalty and a safety we got that anyway. Always a chance on an interference penalty.

I think there is always this idea that CJ could hit a seam and break it big but that wasn't going to happen.

I agree with that, I was really hoping to see a throw over the shoulder to britt, washington or wright down the sideline. Again, our O play calling was way too conservative imo and it got to me!

Seemed like the Texans knew the snap count at times. The 4th and 1 where Antonio Smith was off the ball so fast. I wonder if we were tipping them off some how.

They were really beating us off the ball.

it wouldn't shock me that we didn't change the snap count because we didn't change up the play calling.

You really want analysis? I doubt that. But let's try it:

In the 2nd half, Jake Locker had 17 pass attempts.
    9 completions.
    8 incompletions.
    52%

    Not TERRIBLE... not good.

    1 Sack taken.
    1 Delay of game.

    Not good.

But let's "ANALYZE" instead of just posting numbers... since that's what you're pretending to do while asking for a counter.

    Completion: 3 yards on 3rd and 5 = Punt = Negative
    Incomplete: 3rd and 7 = Punt = Negative
Sacked: Loss of 7 = Negative
Incomplete: 3rd and 15 (thanks to -7 yard sack) = Punt = Negative
Completion: To KW for 7 yards. = Positive
    Incomplete: To KB = Negative
    Incomplete: 3rd and 3 = Punt = Negative
    Delay of Game = Negative
Completion: To KB for 6 yards = Positive
Completion: To KW for 31 yards = Positive
Completion: To KB for 4 yards = Positive
Completion: To KW for 14 yards = Positive
    Incomplete: To KB = Negative
Completion: To KW for 5 yards = Positive
Completion: To DW for 10 yards + TD = Positive
    Incomplete: 3rd and 8 = Punt = Negative
    Incomplete: To KW = Negative
Complete: To KB for 9 yards = Positive
    Incomplete: 3rd and 1 = Punt = Negative

See all that red? 11 out of 19 plays = Negative.

Let's go deeper- 6 of those 11 bad plays resulted in us punting the ball. 6 times out of 19. 6 times in one half.

It's not JUST the numbers, pal. It's actually watching what he did- when he did it. Or what he didn't do.

The pass high to Kenny Britt lost us the game. It's that simple.

That's as easy a pass and catch as you're going to get in the NFL... he panicked and launched the ball.

    Watch the game.

Don't just come post numbers afterward and pretend you watched it. We'll know.

Maybe you had to work... maybe you were stuck somewhere... it's fine. But you didn't watch this game if you're taking up for Jake Locker.

    You want more criticism?

Look how often he locked in on one receiver. He never makes more than 1 read. He missed a wide open Nate... never even saw him in critical time. Never even looked. Because he only looks at one WR per play.

    That doesn't cut it.

    You wanted analysis? There.

Now entertain me with more numbers that mean nothing.

Just so you know: 148 yards passing is pathetic. We expect our RB to run for more than that. 56% completion percentage is nothing to brag about either. Averaging 3.8 yards per pass is NOT good.

So your numbers aren't even helping you.
