per PFT, Locker ran a 4.52 40 this morning. That's pretty fast.
I know it's irrational and superstitious to think this, but I am scared of taking a QB in the 2nd. 2nd round QBs almost never work out. On the other hand, 1st round QBs that many people think are a reach (Joe Flacco, Josh Freeman) seem to work out fairly often (at least in recent years).
The other issue is that I think the value at QB is going to be very thin in round 2. There are only 1-2 good ones in this draft and I think they will end up going in round 1 since so many teams need a QB.
Jake Locker just got A.J. Green's approval's at the combine.
I hear you on that..definitely understandable. Its definitely a tough call to make..but we're essentially choosing amongst a group of avg QBs..imo. With 1-2 possibly becoming something more. Theres no headliner this year..much more hype than substance. And thats what im scared of. IF the Titans draft someone at 8..they better REALLY do their homework
It was, but I was more impressed with how he threw the ball.
Lockers draft stock is going up.. he's having a great combine.
We are gonna take him at 8, i just know it.
I think I'd be OK with that.
I would be too....
I would be if Fairley, Dareus, Bowers, Von Miller, and Newton were all off the board. I think there is a pretty good chance of that really.
