we won't know until the swelling drops. another day of nervousness.
or two or three....
Nothing definitive is good news thus far.
Have NOT decided who the backup will be Sunday vs Chiefs
I think we can safely assume nothing is broken and it's not a career or season ending injury. My hunch from the very beginning was a dislocation and I'm sticking with that because it's the only injury I can think of that can cause the significant amount of swelling that Jake has. On the other hand, initial results are that there is no OBVIOUS structural damage and I would expect to see some strained or sprained ligaments even in an initial MRI is the hip dislocated at any point. I'm no doctor but I think we may have dodged a deadly bullet. Might be just significant tissue damage which is likely better than significant structural damage. Munch said he didn't see Jake walking but assumed he was walking. If Much is right then this is a good sign because even with a simple dislocation Jake would not be walking.
Cut/Trade Britt to make room for a backup QB?
Munch not committing to Rusty as the #2. Likely working out FA QB's tomorrow. Also hoping to keep Locker on active roster.
Bring in Freeman, see what he has IMO
Dont cut him, trade him or keep him
