Jaguars agree to terms with defensive tackle Jackson

I know a lot of people wanted us to sign him, but he was released by the Falcons. A DT. Released by the Falcons.

The falcons are lost and have no use for guys who wont be around down the line. Jackson can still play, now, but his time is limited. He would have been a good pickup for us in the short term, but the opportunity to start in Stroud's place is obviously better than backing up Haynesworth, who we want on the field as much as possible.

Getting the Jags in Nashville without Garrard or Stroud is a lucky break, and a great chance to get separation in the division and in the wild card hunt. They can still beat us, though.
