Well he got a lot of hype, and then went undrafted. I guess he was local to the Cowboys, so they gave him a shot. Didn't get past the 1st round of cuts, but their backfield is pretty good.

Not that I think we should jump for the guy, just thought some may like to know what happened to him.

  2. Ive never heard of the guy.

Boo. I hope he gets his shot. Thanks for the update tho'.

By the way. The other Houston Cougar Alum.

Kolb: Doing great as McNabb's successor. Was shown making up to 4 reads on Monday night football and completing the 4th read. He passed for 242 yards on Sunday and completed 70% of his passes in last two games. Looks poised. I hope he doesn't get stale waiting for his chance.

Vincent Marshall - WR: Hanging on by a thread with Atlanta as a WR. I honestly think he's a star waiting to happen. Not joking. He's a playmaker if he gets a chance. No bias. I think he's the real deal.

If anyone is bored, here is Vincent Marshall's greatest moment. This was in the bowl game, down seven, with 30 seconds to go. Kolb is also in this. He ran that fast and that far with a cramp. You'll even see him collapse at the end.

Here is the jackie battle workout day that got all the hype. And don't forget, it was the TN scout who touted it as the best workout ever:

  7. What was so great about it? He ran a 4.6 forty and had 6 less reps than Reggie Bush did.

What is he? :eh?: WR, RB, or CB... he was doing RB drills and WR drills... and considering bobo said the backfield is good does that mean his competition is good or the guys covering him?

i think we are covered at the Runningback position, although i woulda rather seen us snag a Wide Reciever or D-Lineman in the 2nd round instead of Henry, then pick this guy up after free agency...

He ran the 60 yard shuttle in sub 11. You can count the people faster than he was on one hand. His vertical was 41. The TN scout had him at a 4.35 40 and the video listed him at a 4.4 on average. He has FB size and power. Not too mention his highlights all matched the workout numbers. Trust me. He had a great workout. If he wasn't a FB, he would have been drafted, but nobody drafts FB's on a workout. He could be one of those rare rb's with speed and fb power and that got him a look.
