Branch's biggest longest catch of the day came on a play in which Hood lined up about 10 yards of the line of scrimmage and they threw a WR screen. Hood then was raped out in the open field by a 300 lb OL. In fact he just sat there and let the guy push him down.


And it wasn't just plays that he gave up, but he also was out of position several times. Remember when Seattle had to settle for a FG in the 4th? Right before the FG on the pass into the corner of the end zone, Hood was terribly out of position. The only reason it wasn't a TD was b/c it was a poor pass.

And TJ ended up with 66 yards on 3 receptions. Your stories don't hold much water.

 

some good points brought up onboth sides here but i think this also proves my point. you cant say jeff fisher is a terrible coach because he starts one bad cornerback over another bad cornerback. harper can tackle better then hood and hoods a little better at coverage then harper but fisher deciding to start harper over hood is like asking someone if they had rather die drowning or burning alive both choices suck.

 

Wow. Well, it's clear someone didn't watch the game or doesn't know that Finnegan wears #31 and Hood wears 37.

Click on the Deion Branch highlight. It is clear as day that Hood is guarding Branch on that play. Finn makes the tackle eventually, after Hood is pushed down like a rag doll.
