Hood has wiffed on 2 tackles that went for big gains when they should have been losses- BUT...

He's done about 10x's better in pass coverage. When we're depending on DBs to make plays in the backfield, I think DL/LB is more of a priority than CB.

i think, our D line isnt getting enough sacks, Griffin ,Harper and Hood are not that good, KVB turned into a ghost and out LB's suck. everyone one of them.

its not so much a harper vs hood issue. its actually one of the main arguments the fisher haters use to talk smack about fisher. " fisher cant coach b/c he starts harper over hood" "harper has something on fisher and thats the only reason harper starts over hood" and on and on and on. so as much as this issue doesnt matter anymore we will here about it well into the offseason. both hood and harper suck and hopefully will be out of here next season end of story.

 

makes you wonder if kvb is as good as we thought. i have seen kvb and hayes getting some pressure from the outside but all the qb's do is step up in the pocket because theres no push or pressure coming from the middle. last year and in years past haynesworth would be putting the pressure on in the middle therefor the qb's would have no were to go. a force in the middle can mask a bad defense and make them look alot better then they really are.

 

I didn't see the game, but clearly no matter how bad Hood looked, the Defense as a unit played well with him in there. We only gave up 13. So how bad could it have really been. I'm just saying, the Defense wasn't crippled today. So I have hard time thinking he was really that bad.

 

it was bad in the second quarter that is for sure. Hood made some plays in the backfield that without a doubt Harper would have made the tackle on
